Afro Somatic / 3 Months of research work

Kossi S. Aholou-Wokawui has received a grant from the "Fonds Darstellende Künste" for her new Afro Somatic Research in the framework of NEUSTART KULTUR and in the framework of #TakeHeart.

From the beginning of March to the end of May, Kossi will work on her research in Bremen and Bruchhausen-Vilsen for three months.

At the end of this research, Kossio S. Aholou-Wokawui will develop a technique called Afro-Somatic. Another way of looking at traditional African dance forms. This research will be mainly based on the Spinal Columns (serpent de vie), the pelvis (etoile) and the sternum (soleil)...
